Spotigo WiFi SmartClient
Spotigo's WiFi SmartClient combines four innovative modules and helps companies like WISPs, WiFi city networks, hardware providers and many others to take full advantage of the WiFi boom. Each one of the four components can be licensed independently or as part of the whole SmartClient bundle.
1. The POI Finder Module
Spotigo enables your end user to find your services even without the need to be online: An individualized directory of POIs [hotspots, stores, etc.] is stored within the application and converts the SmartClient into a Yellow Pages Client, a Hotspot Finder or an internal staff and asset directory. Spotigo’s long-year experience in administrating the world´s largest WiFi hotspot directory guarantees best service quality.

2. The WiFi Connection Manager Module
This component allows scanning for and fully automatic login to public or private hotspots - the user can connect with one click or even fully automatically when reaching the coverage area of a specific WiFi network.

3. The Content Push Module
The SmartClient is not only making the use of wireless networks as simple and convenient as possible, it can also be deployed as a communication platform: Companies can push any content (value added services, advertising, ...) to their customers - in any format: text, pictures, multimedia, etc.

4. The Location Finder Module
Spotigo offers a trailblazing positioning technology: Any WiFi-enabled device (laptop, smartphone, PDA, WiFi-tagged items, etc.) can be located by WiFi signal patterns - with an accuracy of up to 1 meter. Unlike GPS, Spotigo's WiFi-based positioning works even indoors and 3D. This module is the basis for innovative Location Based Services (LBS) and Location Based Advertising (LBA).
