The SmartClient does not only support the integration of all standard advertising banner formats, it is also a comprehensive communication platform: By integrating the Spotigo Content Push Module into the WiFi SmartClient, it is possible to send highly targeted content to the end users.
Of course the pushed content can not only be displayed within the SmartClient, but also in a separate browser window. This module allows keeping the end customer updated about the latest products and offers new revenue opportunities by selling advertising to partner companies.
If combined with WiPS (Spotigo's WiFi-based Positioning Solution), the information sent to the users' devices can not only be customized according to the individual usage behaviour or registry data, but also to the current location (Location Based Advertising [LBA]). At the same time, attractive Location Based Services (LBS) can be provided.
LBS provided via the Content Push Module can be the basis for various new attractive business models.
- Currently available for Windows XP, Vista, Windows Mobile and Symbian - further platforms on request (platform-independent core code)
