WiFi SmartClient - POI Finder Module
When integrated to Spotigo's WiFi SmartClient, the POI Finder Module makes it possible to find points of interest / services / assets without the need to be online: An individually adjusted directory is stored on the end user's device and gets updated continuously. This module can be used as a Hotspot Finder for WISPs, a tourist directory for WiFi-equipped cities, an internal staff and equipment directory for companies, etc.

A comprehensive search interface enables the user to find exactly what he is looking for. If used as a hotspot finder, the SmartClient allows defining individual search criteria like city, zip-code, venue type (café, hotel, airport, etc.), service provider/roaming company, access type, etc. In the search results further information regarding the access point is displayed: pricing, contact information, SSID, etc. A very useful feature is the radius search that allows the user to find hotspots in a definable radius around a determined location.
Optional online and offline mapping
The integration of mapping and routing services makes it even easier for the end users to find their way to their destination.
